Brandy Young, DNP, MSN, FNP-C

Nurse Practitioner

Brandy Young is a dedicated and accomplished nurse practitioner with over two decades of experience in healthcare and education. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Auburn University Montgomery in 2005, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from Troy University in 2012. In 2016, she achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice from South University, demonstrating her commitment to advanced clinical expertise and lifelong learning.

Brandy is board certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, specializing in Family Medicine. Her clinical experience spans across primary care, urgent care, sleep medicine, and long-term care—offering patients comprehensive and compassionate care across the lifespan.

Beyond the clinic, Brandy is an accomplished educator and leader. She has served as an assistant professor at Auburn University Montgomery, Troy University, and South University, as well as a clinical instructor at Auburn University. Her commitment to shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals reflects her passion for the nursing profession.

Brandy is actively engaged in the professional community, currently serving or having served in leadership roles with several organizations including the Advanced Practitioners of the River Region, Nurse Practitioner Alliance of Alabama, and the Alabama State Nurses Association.

Her dedication to global health was demonstrated through a medical mission trip to Malawi, Africa, and her scholarly work has been recognized internationally with a presentation at the World Congress of Medicine Conference.
